Water Wise Challenge

How can we get even wiser about water in Southern California?

Clean, accessible water is critical for healthy communities and thriving ecosystems. However, water waste, pollution, increasing population and climate change impact the availability of clean, accessible water in our region.

The bright side? We can all help combat these challenges by conserving water and protecting our watershed.

We’re challenging 4th-12th grade students in our service area to investigate and innovate ways our community can be more water wise. By focusing Science and Engineering fair projects on water conservation in Southern California, students in our Service Area are eligible to also submit their projects in our WaterWise Challenge.

Please check back for more information about eligibility, prizes, deadlines, and more soon.

And visit our Water Science booth at the Landscape and Water Conservation Festival on October 21st for projects ideas, inspiration, and support!
