At this workshop, learn more about:
• How to select the best mulch for fruit and vegetable gardens.
• How to create compost from backyard green waste and foodscraps from your kitchen.
• How to compost food scraps with red worms (vermicomposting).
This class is part of our Grow Your Garden Series where participants learn tips and techniques for water-efficient fruit and vegetable gardens. These classes often have an outdoor or hands-on component to help participants move from understanding key concepts to taking action in their yards and gardens. Anyone can attend.
