Description
Join us for a walk and talk in our demonstration garden to learn how to use colorful plants to support native bees and other pollinators!
*SIGN UPS DOWN BELOW*
We will also discuss other habitat features to support native bees and other pollinators. They need our help, and you can make a difference in your yard! Participants will learn:- Our favorite native plants and plant combinations for year-round blooms to support pollinators
- Special ways to support “ground nesting” native pollinators
- DIY projects to create nesting locations for “cavity nesting” pollinators
- About our other resources including garden design templates for native pollinator gardens
Scott has been working in horticulture for almost 20 years, focused on both the design and ongoing care of sustainable native or edible landscapes in Southern California at the residential and public garden scales. He has a master’s degree in landscape architecture for Cal Poly Pomona and was previously the Landscape Design and Planning Coordinator at the Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens.
