The CHINO BASIN WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as the DISTRICT, will receive responses for Request for Proposals for HVAC MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICES until Thursday, November 14, 2024 by 2:00 p.m. at the Chino Basin Water Conservation District, located at 4594 San Bernardino Street, Montclair, California 91763 or via email at afernandez@cbwcd.org.
All requests shall be addressed to afernandez@cbwcd.org stating the company name, address, contact name, title, and telephone numbers.
Proposals will be received from qualified respondents to provide Preventative Maintenance & Repair Services of the District’s HVAC System. The successful proposal must possess or obtain a valid California C-20 Contractor’s License.
Brief Description of Scope of Work: The Chino Basin Water Conservation District (District) is requesting proposals for mechanical technicians to be dispatched on a scheduled basis to perform preventive maintenance on our mechanical HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning. In addition, the District may request quotes for repair work as the need arises. The District will need quarterly preventative maintenance services for the HVAC systems in three (3) of its buildings. A detailed Field Service Report, including photos, will be required with all requests for payments. The District is requesting a pricing proposal to provide complete turn-key preventative maintenance services that provides 100% coverage of all labor, parts, and materials as well as emergency services needed to provide ongoing process of sustaining the performance of the building systems. Mitsubishi HVAC technology is regarded as one of the most advanced in the industry but requires a specialized technician with Mitsubishi HVAC Training to perform maintenance. Extensive and specialized training in Mitsubishi HVAC technology is preferred.
The envelope containing the Response to RFP must be sealed and contain the words “Response to Request for Proposals for HVAC MAINTENANCE & REPAIR SERVICES for the Chino Basin Water Conservation District.” It is the responsibility of the respondents to make sure the Response to RFP is in the possession of the Chino Basin Water Conservation District, prior to the date and time indicated. Otherwise, the RFP response will be rejected and not considered. Proposals received after the deadline will be considered late. Late proposals will not be accepted and will be returned to the respondent unopened. Faxed proposals are not acceptable.
