Description

The CHINO BASIN WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as the DISTRICT, will accept responses for Request for Proposals for JANITORIAL SERVICES until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the Chino Basin Water Conservation District, located at 4594 San Bernardino Street, Montclair, California 91763. Proposals received after the deadline will be considered late. Late proposals will not be accepted and will be returned to the respondent unopened. Faxed proposals are not acceptable.

Requests for transmittal of the RFP by email shall be addressed to procurement@cbwcd.org stating the RFP No. and title in the subject line, requesting person’s name and title, name, email address, and telephone numbers.

For submittals via mail, the envelope containing the Response to RFP must be sealed and contain the words “RFP NO. 2025-04 – JANITORIAL SERVICES, Proposal Submittal.” For submittals via email, one (1) PDF version of the proposal should be emailed with the same words in the subject line. Please refer to Section 4, “Submittal of Proposal” for submittal instructions.

 

Brief Description of Scope of Work: The District invites proposals for custodial labor to maintain our District facilities. Services provided to the District include but are not limited to dusting, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, biannual window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, floor waxing, and annual carpet cleaning. The service areas will include, but are not limited to office spaces, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas for the three main buildings. The District will provide the required replenishment items to perform the requested duties of twice weekly, weekly, biannually, and annually.

 

Job Walk: A job walk will be scheduled for Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

The District reserves the right to amend this RFP prior to the deadline for submission of bids. In order to receive copies or notices of any such amendments, you must complete the “Prospective Bidder Contact Information” form available on the District’s website at https://cbwcd.org/bids. The submission of this information will place your firm on the Prospective Bidders List. Amendments will be issued via email only to those listed in the Prospective Bidders List and will be posted on the District’s website.
