Description
The CHINO BASIN WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, hereinafter referred to as the DISTRICT, will accept responses for Request for Proposals for ON-CALL REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES until Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Chino Basin Water Conservation District, located at 4594 San Bernardino Street, Montclair, California 91763. Proposals received after the deadline will be considered late. Late proposals will not be accepted and will be returned to the respondent unopened. Faxed proposals are not acceptable.
Requests for transmittal of the RFP by email shall be addressed to afernandez@cbwcd.org stating the RFP No. and title in the subject line, requesting person’s name and title, firm name, email address, and telephone numbers.
For submittals via mail, the envelope containing the Response to RFP must be sealed and contain the words “ON-CALL REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: Proposal Submittal.” For submittals via email, one (1) PDF version of the proposal should be emailed with the same words in the subject line. Please refer to Section 4, Submittal of Proposal for submittal instructions.
Brief Description of Scope of Work: The Chino Basin Water Conservation District (District) is requesting proposals for a real estate broker/firm (“Broker”) to provide professional real estate services to the District in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including California Government Code restrictions on public agency real estate transactions. The Broker shall possess a valid California real estate license issued by the California Department of Real Estate and have demonstrated experience in representing special districts or public agencies in real estate transactions. The Broker shall have experience in market analysis, sale and disposition of government properties, acquisition and purchase of properties, land swap and negotiation services with regards to real estate, advisory and compliance services with regards to real estate, and coordination with legal and administrative staff.

• Response to Questions due Thursday, April 10, 2025 by 2:00 p.m.
• Proposals due by Thursday, April 24, 2025 by 2:00 p.m.
• Interviews will be tentatively scheduled the week of April 28, 2025
• Selection by May 2025

Qualifications
The Broker shall possess a valid California real estate license issued by the California Department of Real Estate and have demonstrated experience in representing special districts or public agencies in real estate transactions.
