Water Conservation Field Trips

Waterwise Educators Will Lead The Way

We provide free in-person field trips that explore water conservation and the relationship between people and the native plants of Southern California. Trips are 2–3 hours long and include a grade-specific STEAM Lab aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and a collection of outdoor activities. Groups must have at least 25 students to be eligible for a field trip.

Before You Book A Field Trip:

Free to all on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Field trips are open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays October through May.

Schools within our service area that bring at least 25 students are eligible to have their transportation costs reimbursed, up to $500.

You will need to submit your Transportation Reimbursement Request form within 4 weeks of your visit.

If you have more than 70 students, please sign up for 2 field trip days.
