Landscaping Workshops, Classes, and Certifications at the Waterwise Community Center

The Waterwise Community Center is one of Southern California’s leading sources for home landscaping and gardening education. Join us year-round for free classes presented by expert instructors. We teach the knowledge and techniques necessary to successfully design, install, and maintain beautiful and resource-conserving California native gardens, whether you prefer to do it yourself or you want to prepare for professional work.

All our residential landscaping classes are presented so that no previous experience is required, but we often hear from experienced gardeners and professionals how useful and informative classes are.

Each class focuses on presenting both information and building skills so participants leave empowered to do this in the real world.

Weather permitting, most classes feature a portion held outdoors in our Waterwise Demonstration Garden, so please bring anything you will need to be comfortable depending on the season (e.g., hat, sunglasses, water bottle, sunblock, jacket).

We look forward to seeing you here!
