Teri Layton is a native Californian and has lived most of her life in Rancho Cucamonga. She has been working in the water utility industry for over 30 years and understands the challenges of drought. Teri began her water career back in the 1980’s working for a special water district. Ms. Layton currently has been employed by San Antonio Water Company since 1992 and currently holds the position of Assistant General Manager.
Over the last several years Ms. Layton has been actively participating in the surrounding water basins [Chino, Six Basins and Cucamonga] and has held several leadership positions in both Six Basins and Chino Basin. Teri has earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with the emphasis in management and human resources at Cal Poly Pomona. She also holds a Water Distribution Grade 2 certification.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her two granddaughters. As a Christian woman, she believes in God first, family and then work. Her dedication and desire to do the right thing is an asset to any position she serves.
