When thinking about renovating a landscape area, consider choosing one or more “themes” for the space. It can make the process much less intimidating than looking at a large area and thinking, What should I plant here?
This process is truly “choose your own adventure.” You can be inspired by one of our themes and choose that one for your space, you can combine elements of multiple themes, or you can create a different theme, entirely your own. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to go about the process.
“Themes” are central ideas or concepts for the planted areas that surround social or patio spaces, pathways, or other unplanted areas.
